Hiya, Thanks for your interest in the coming to visit the far and work with seasonal/locally grown flowers!
A little about me, I’m Taylor, and I have 8 seasons of personal cut flower growing knowledge for events, retail and wholesale. This is coupled with the experience of 3 years working on a 30 year old West Cork flower farm and florist studio, Hanako. I have worked in large scale events in Mexico, Ireland and Italy, as well as experience in retail settings and managing small businesses for many years.
I’m looking forward to sharing my passion of sustainable floristry practices and preferred techniques/mechanics for arranging. I’m even more excited to share my growing advice care and handling of flowers with you on the day, its what brings me the most satisfaction, growing flowers and watching them mature and then getting to take them to the next level in arrangements. I have a good knowledge of the business side of flowers and running a small business that works for me in my the life.
I’m interested to find out a little about what your experience is ahead of the day, as well as what topics you are especially interested in.
The day will consist of a walk around our most likely untidied 1/2 acre flower farm, demonstration, lunch, design time, chats about growing and a photography session.
